Rich and Cozy would be a good start at describing the Full Aniline Burnham Molasses Nubuck Leather on this Braxton Leather Sofa. This one is 108″ long (9ft) x 43″ deep and configured with our “twin cushion” setup. Two seat cushions with Two back cushions. This one now calls Golden CO home.
This Braxton Twin Cushion in Berkshire Pewter Italian Leather headed to Portland, Oregon recently. Berkshire Leather is a cousin of our popular Brompton Leather, just without the extra wax impregnation that gives Brompton it’s shine. Berkshire could be thought of as a matter version of Brompton, made from the same European hides at the same Italian tannery. These leathers are finished with Oil and Soft Waxes, then slightly polished and milled for an authentic vintage leather look.

It was great working with this customer in Iowa to select her perfect combo; a Braxton Leather Sofa paired with a matching Braxton Leather Storage Ottoman, all dressed in beautiful Italian Berkshire Chestnut leather.
Berkshire Chestnut is one of our more popular leather selections. This leather scratches easily (they blend easily too) but the accumulation of those scratches becomes part of the character as this leather burnishes and polishes, developing its patina over time. The first few scratches can be alarming, but it’s part of the process, and the end result is part of what people love about these oiled pullup leathers. Berkshire is also a full grain, which means it’s not corrected or mechanically altered and it will feature natural markings and scars, which are again part of the character. Berkshire is also Full Aniline, so all of the color is achieved by soaking and tumbling the hides in drums of translucent aniline dyes. These dyes do not paint or cover up natural color variation and markings inherent across natural leather hides, they merely lend color to the natural beauty of the hide.
Our Braxton Leather Storage Ottoman is a popular add on option for customers buying our Braxton Leather Sofas and Sectionals. Struts assist with opening the lid to reveal storage, and also slow the closing of the lid for a soft landing. Customers love to use these ottomans as coffee tables, simply placing a tray on the ottoman, and with the tray removed, the ottoman can be used to extend the sofa seating, or even independently off to the side as extra seating in a pinch.
This customer opted for the 46″ depth Braxton Leather Sofa, boasting approximately 29″ of seat depth, and with the ottoman in front of the sofa the chaise effect is hard to beat 🙂

Grey was definitely the hottest leather color of 2016 and shows no sign of slowing down!
Headed to Alberta Canada (yes we ship to Canada!) this Braxton Leather Sofa was made 132″ long and 46″ deep. We upholstered this one in Italian Berkshire Pewter leather. Berkshire is made using what are essentially Brompton hides, but Berkshire goes through one more step of being tumbled in drums to soften the leather. This results in a more matte finish, and a softer feel, with all of the natural characteristics and distressing that people love about Italian Brompton Leather.
This customer opted for our Heavy Gauge Sinuous Spring Suspension. We offer customers a choice between True 8-way hand tied and Heavy Gauge Sinuous Spring Suspension on our built to order products made in the USA.

Buying custom leather furniture doesn’t just mean picking a leather and leg color, custom means ordering something built to your specifications. This customer in Canada took advantage of of one of our strengths when asking us to build a set of 84″ Braxton Leather Sofas in a 40″ depth. We offer this style configurable on the site in both 43″ and 46″ depths, but also offer custom depth with our leather furniture.
After originally ordering and “Leather To Be Determined” (in order to get her order moving while samples were sent) this client landed on our Italian Glove Chestnut Full Grain Leather. This leather is Full Aniline dyed, and is the same classification or leather as our Italian Brompton leather (from the same tannery). As with Brompton, natural markings and color variation will be present, and this is a waxed pull-up leather that will distress and develop an amazing patina with use. It really just doesn’t get much better than this!
