Side angle view of Braxton 132 inch Sofa in Italian Berkshire Pewter Leather
Grey was definitely the hottest leather color of 2016 and shows no sign of slowing down!
Headed to Alberta Canada (yes we ship to Canada!) this Braxton Leather Sofa was made 132″ long and 46″ deep. We upholstered this one in Italian Berkshire Pewter leather. Berkshire is made using what are essentially Brompton hides, but Berkshire goes through one more step of being tumbled in drums to soften the leather. This results in a more matte finish, and a softer feel, with all of the natural characteristics and distressing that people love about Italian Brompton Leather.
This customer opted for our Heavy Gauge Sinuous Spring Suspension. We offer customers a choice between True 8-way hand tied and Heavy Gauge Sinuous Spring Suspension on our built to order products made in the USA.

After originally ordering and “Leather To Be Determined” (in order to get her order moving while samples were sent) this client landed on our Italian Glove Chestnut Full Grain Leather. This leather is Full Aniline dyed, and is the same classification or leather as our Italian Brompton leather (from the same tannery). As with Brompton, natural markings and color variation will be present, and this is a waxed pull-up leather that will distress and develop an amazing patina with use. It really just doesn’t get much better than this!
6ft. Braxton Leather Sofa – Twin Cushion, 46″ depth, in Full Grain Italian Glove Timberwolf Leather
Just shipped and on the way to Montgomery Texas, this small 6ft. long Braxton Leather Sofa still packs some punch with roomy, 46″ deep seating. We’ve dressed this one an Aniline dyed, Full Grain Leather called Glove Timberwolf. This leather is the Grey Brompton Leather, same leather as Brompton, same tannery, just part of a group of dye colors organized under the article name “Glove”. This waxed pullup leather displays quite a bit of color variation and natural markings from the hides. Feather & Down topped seats and full Feather & Down back cushions are part of what this customer is sure to enjoy about this Braxton as they break it in to that perfect feel.
Headed from our factory in California up to Seattle Washington, we’re sure this Braxton Leather Sofa will be the location of more than a few lazy days hiding out from the rain. This customer selected the 90 inch length, our 43″ studio depth and Italian Brompton Classic Vintage leather. This leather is a lighter, warm Chestnut colored version of the popular Italian Brompton Cocoa leather. This American made leather sofa started with a solid hardwood frame, which was padded then upholstered in world class leather and finally stuffed with comfortable feather & down and supportive foam cores.
This Braxton Leather Sofa made its way safely to San Mateo California where the new owner is surely breaking it in!
This customer started with our 84″ Braxton, in the 46″ depth and selected our Italian Berkshire Chestnut leather. To add another element of style, they opted for us to apply nail head trim in antique brass finish. After selecting their own specific placement for the trim, our craftsman hand applied each nail as a part of the last step of the production process.
Braxton 84″ Leather Sofa in Italian Berkshire Chestnut with Nail Head Trim
Italian Berkshire is an interesting leather that begins it’s life essentially as Brompton, but the tannery then tumbles the hides in drums to distress and open up the hand of the leather, creating a thick, soft feel without the shine of Brompton.
