    Our Mont Blanc Leathers are Full Grain European hides Tanned in Italy with natural scars and markings which distress beautifully and develop a gorgeous patina with deep colors, shades and loads of character.

    Built for a client of a member of our Designer Program, this is a Braxton Mini L Sectional in the 46″ overall depth, with 10″ added to the “shorter” side of the sectional.  The leather selected was our Glove Buckskin leather, a cousin of the popular Italian Brompton leather, prepared in the same 5th generation Italian tannery.

    Something new, but also familiar at the same time 🙂

    The Oscar Leather Sofa is part of a collection based on our popular Arizona Leather Collection.  Shown here in Italian Mont Blanc Sycamore, a Full Grain, Full Aniline Leather.

    The Oscar is essentially our Arizona, but features some subtle changes that resulted from customer requests that became popular customizations for our Arizona:

    • Clean, Non-tufted Seats (Seats are Tufted on the Arizona)
    • 1″ high legs, with a taller frame box, creating that “to-the-floor” feeling. (Arizona features a taller 3″ Tapered Leg with slightly less tall frame box)
    • No Welting on Arms, Frame, Back Cushions, or Seat Cushions (Arizona has welting on all of these areas – a small rib of leather along the edges)

    Off to Austin, TX, a Braxton Mini L Sectional in Italian Mont Blanc leather. This customer went with Cushion Option 2 (see diagram below) and the 46″ depth option.

    Mont Blanc Truffle is Brompton Cocoa’s cousin, made using the same hides, in the same 5th generation Italian tannery. Mont Blanc distresses just a bit more subtly than Brompton Cocoa, which displays much more dramatic distressing and color variation with use (see detail images below). If you’re looking for a good dark brown, and are interested in a Full Grain, Full Aniline Pull-up leather but would like more subtle color distressing, Mont Blanc Truffle may be the leather for you.
