This is a custom Muir L Sectional that was made in the wrong configuration, so after delivery we swapped it for a new one made for the client. Besides custom length dimensions, this order was customized to have a 1" lower arm (23.5") and to not have the seat cushion wrap around the front of the arm as it is in the Muir Collection. This one was made in Burnham Sycamore, an aniline nubuck leather from the North Island of New Zealand

Hardwood Frame and Heavy Gauge Sinuous Suspension:
Kiln-dried solid hardwood frame
The frame is the foundation of any good sofa. Built entirely from solid pieces of kiln-dried Alder, our frames are built in America, stapled, screwed, double-doweled and corner block re-inforced for durability.
Heavy gauge sinuous spring suspension
Our Heavy Gauge Sinuous Spring Suspension utilizes a heavier gauge wire than 8-way and is a firm, supportive suspension. The memory of the tightly spaced tempered steel S-Coils push up where you need it the most. Carries the same warranty as our 8-way and is the easiest of our two suspensions to service.

Feather & down comfort with support
Our bottom seat cushions feature a plush Feather & Down blend shell topper, zippered for easy serviceability and contain a resilient 1.8 density foam core. This density has been specifically selected for comfort & performance. Don't be fooled by the "higher density is better" game, however if you would like a different density, let us know in the order notes and we'll be happy to accomodate!
Feather & down back cushions
Our back seat cushions feature zipper access to a Feather & Down stuffed insert (NO polyester fiber fill!). The fabric shell is channeled to prevent migration of the Feather & Down. Some manufacturers tout their "down cushions", while only including it in the bottom cushions and using inferior polyester fiber fill or low grade "feather only" fill in the back cushions!
